The "New Economy" Korten envisions is locally based, community oriented and devoted to a better life for all, not simply increasing profits of the rich. We'll have a guided discussion on economic myths and new realities focusing on our varied and personal responses as progressives, as spiritual and ethical beings, as family members etc living in the midst of uncertainly. David's prior 2 books the now classics for sustainable economics: The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community - 2006, and When Corporations Rule the World - 2001.
