Sun, Feb 18, 9 to 10 AM, NSP members and peace activists and teachers, Tony Langbehn and Nancy Fayer, speak on Conflict and Reconciliation at "Shalom, Salaam, Peace" a class comparing compare Jewish, Muslim and Christian views on Peace at Saint John the Evangelist United Methodist - Presbyterian (USA) Church.

Sun, Mar 4, 3 to 5 pm, Military Recruitment in our Schools- What students (and parents) need to know before enlisting! Speakers: John Judge, a founding member of the National Network Opposing the Militarization of Youth (NNOMY) and currently promoting a Military Reform Caucus in Congress and Pat Elder is a co-founder of the Montgomery County Coalition on Recruitment Issues (MCCRI).

Fri Mar 16, 7pm Christian Witness for Peace starting with a service at the Washington National Cathedral and optional candlelit procession to the White House. Then a prayer vigil and optional nonviolent civil disobedience .

Those who may engage in nonviolent civil disobedience will take nonviolent training workshops on Thurs Mar 14 and Fri Mar 15 and the info on this nonviolence training is here.
